September was a productive month for sure, here are some of our last
creations.
First, Lise has been working on an extension of Nuxeo EP for mail management and it's pretty :-)
We have been working also on the Nuxeo RCP appearance. First, we gave it a splashscreen. Sun is still working on integrating the tabs, so I made the icons (most of them come from Tango, famfamfam, are a mix or were entierely made vectorally from sratch). We even made linux/win/osX icon! Next step would be to theme the backgrounds & text. Here are some screenshots of custom graphics in action.
Note that Nuxeo RCP & Courrier can be downloaded in the sandbox of the Nuxeo source code. As you may know, Nuxeo was present at Le Forum Des Acteurs du Numérique in Paris, IFRA in Vienna and at DocumationUK in London, so we made half-a-dozen banners (up to 2 meters-long!). At these exhibitions we had three all-new booklets ( Corporate presentation, Nuxeo ECM Stack & Nuxeo Connect support). We also gave "i luv ECM" badges, they were a success! You can find some photos in our Nuxeo Flickr, where you can find some pictures of Steve Raby & the DOC. ^^
Among other little things (we made nice signs for THE BUREAU & THE FRIGO offices - i'll show you when I get a digital camera), we started to theme the discussions section on nuxeo.org, the community site.
At least, all the graphic material used for communication was re-injected in the whole new ECM Stack pages on nuxeo.com!
I hope you all enjoy it, stay tuned for more ECM-loving pictures :-) ++

I'm proud to announce that our corporate site has been refreshed. Sharper, lighter, more sober and filled up : could not dream more for a website that is definitely looking more and more like our firm (unless sober for some, I guess) ;-) ! A little reorg has been made to welcome our new subsidiary in Senegal : Nuxeo Afrique ! The front page layout highlights our abilities in open source ECM and we now have a Downloads section where you'll find our french brochures but also NXGoodies such as corporate wallpapers. How addictive, isn't it ? :-) But that ain't all ! The screencast page had its little lift too. Our customers page is now completely full of CPS-based ECM sucess stories. And besides other little hidden surprises (more and more the graphic communication is being united), you can now keep up to date with the News & Events. Well stay tuned, like Arnaud would say, and enjoy your visit at Nuxeo.com ! ++

How to... change the CPS Default Theme in less than 1 hour using CPSSkins ? That question has been raised many times on the CPS-users lists and it has now a quite definitive answer in 4 steps on Nuxeo.com Screencasts. The swf videos are dubbed in french and subtitled in english. Please enjoy and don't hesitate to give us feedbacks !

A brand new screenshot of the default homepage I'm working on (it is
scalable of course)... and some other portlets too.
Most of the new icon set has also been added. Icons mostly come from Mark James' FAMFAMFAM Silk icon set (and some of Mini too), i just made them a little more GUI ! Many thanks to him !

I just figured out how to transform our old arrowed and cold form buttons to
look more... lickable as Steve would have said ;-)
It it pretty simple : border is 1px outset white with a image-background "10 px high 1px large position:top bottom repeat-x" when normal (i told you it was sexy!). When hover, grays are darker, but just take a look... and enjoy !

The new CPS default theme is being integrated for the next release (3.4). It
includes new CPS logo and colours, better usability, sexy forms, new set of icons, new "brilliant
buttons", Tarek's
Drag'n'Drop and other cool stuff.
Tabs, Menu and Actions portlets are still being coded. I can't wait to see the whole thing put together ! Playing with CPSSkins also gave me the taste to make a logo for Jean-Marc Orliguet (i already made a new set of styles icons)
